About Trager

  1. It now appears that the Safari Web Clipper doesn't work on any pages except for a very select few. For example, I can get it to come up on gmail, but it fails on all of the following (just to take a bunch of examples that I've tried in the past few minutes): http://www.cultofmac.com/257129/the-mesh-card-wallet-is-so-small-it-fits-inside-any-other-wallet/ http://www.businessinsider.com/this-hoodie-is-so-insanely-popular-you-have-to-wait-months-to-get-it-2013-12 http://www.technologytell.com/apple/127219/change-the-color-of-the-lumen-tl800-led-smart-bulb-with-an-iphone/ After a bit more testing, it appears that the issue may have something to do with whether the page I'm trying to clip is the first tab in a Safari window. I was just able to verify this by trying to use the clipper on a page and failing, then dragging that tab to be the first tab in that window, and then trying to clip again (and being successful). I suppose that'll make it much easier to work around, but it's still a very annoying behavior.
  2. Sorry to pile on, but I'm definitely in that camp where the ability to link notes would almost infinitely expand Evernote's usability for me. Especially if the link interface were well integrated with the editor (i.e. a nice hotkey to bring up the interface and a text search/completion type input so that I could very quickly put links inline with text as I type).
  3. I use Evernote for recording a lot of reports and in-process documents. It'd be infinitely useful to be able to set up pre-formatted templates and be able to select from those when creating a new note.
