  1. I would really like Evernote to give us an option to start on a specific note each time. My recollection is that it has always been an option.

I use one particular note hundreds of times a day, every day, and I would like it to always open up to that note. I am not sure why that functionality was removed.

This would be instead of it forcing me to start at a list of notes every single time.

  2. Anyone else noticing this? Text gets zoomed into when you select it for editing, which throws the notes proportions off. Also sometimes the note's positioning on the screen gets out of position if you edit the text the wrong way, which makes it so you can't see all of the text in front of you. This seems to be some kind of scaling problem. This only happened with the recent update. I have sent in a request for them to look into this.

Look for the three dots menu next to the blue Share button and choose 'Slash Commends'

According to my Windows OS version of Evernote, I am on the latest version. It is 10.79.3 and it included this slash command issue as a new feature. There is no "slash commands" option in the three dot menu next to "Share," so I don't think this can be turned off.

I don't see a way to update to 10.81.4 as you described.

  4. This new update is in my opinion extremely distracting and annoying. I am having this issue using Evernote on a Windows machine. I do not see it happening on the mobile version. I am running the most up-to-date version on Windows which is 10.79.3. According to the release notes, this slash command note was added as a "new feature".

Any time you have empty space on a list and start to type, the message "Press "/" to insert an element" pops up in light gray.

I want to turn this off. There must be a way to do it. Does anyone know how?

  5. I update my Evernote on the computer using the Windows program. However, when I then go and look at my iOS app to see the note on my phone, it has no sync so I am looking at an older version of the note. I am using an iPhone 11 Pro Max, there is nothing wrong with my phone. I've had to constantly restart and sign out of the app. It started the last few days. I think this is on Evernote's end. What is going on here?

  6. I think other people have pointed this out, but the 6 fonts that are available via the iOS app in the new upgrade are TOO LIMITED. There are 6. None of them are even the same as the fonts in the Mac version for your computer. So if you're on your phone updating the app, you have to use a different font than what you created on your computer. This makes notes look absolutely ridiculous because they're filled with different fonts all over the place.

I use Arial on the Mac app when I am at my computer. It used to work SEAMLESSLY on the iOS app. How can we get that font back?? Why is there this ridiculous choice limit on fonts for the new iOS app?

Edit: for the moderators, I am posting this on the iOS forum, too, because I don't know if this is considered an iOS issue for a Mac issue.
