I have been around the block trying different note taking apps Notion, Bear, Roam Research and others. Now I am back with Evernote. I was pleasantly surprised at the updates that have occurred on this platform and I honestly did not think I would be using Evernote again but the ability to search notes and it's improved design convinced me. The feature that I want the most is the ability to create a note from the search block if one does not exist and I would like the ability to link to to other articles and have Evernote automatically create a link back to the original note. This is a feature that I loved in Roam Research. I liked Roam a lot but after a while the ability to customize how I wanted involved a bunch CSS hacks plus I want to be able to easily move between iOS and my Mac or whatever machine I am using. Please consider creating backlinks.
