About drivera

  1. yes, after checking, all notes created prior to the DST switch are reporting being created an hour later.
  2. when switching over to DST or back to Standard time, Evernote for Windows changes the created and modified time of notes.
  3. thank you jbenson2, but iwas not talking about using the search box, but rather the find within note function when you hit ctrl-f
  4. how to "find within note" todo/checkbox? dont want to do anything special with checkboxes, just want to find them within a single note like you can for text within a single note. see image: notice how it counts how many instances of the found items? how can this be done/what is the syntax to find checkboxes/todo items?
  5. It used to be that when you pasted text into a note it would take on the default formatting of that note. since a recent update, this no longer happens. now if you paste text in that does not have formatting information it pastes it in as monospaced characters rather than the default font type. The only way to paste it that I have found with the default font is to paste special and then select plain text... but the text I am trying to paste should aready be plain text. Kind of frustrating that you cant just use ctrl-c and ctrl-v like normal. Possibly a switch in the settings to allow for both types of functionality based upon user preferences? Just a minor frustration, not a deal breaker though. I LOVE Evernote!
  6. Both I and my wife use Evernote and we both have separate accounts. I am also trying to get my manager to use this across the board at our company. The functionality of emailing notes from within the program is great! It even creates an attachment that is an export of the exact note. It would be useful to have the email to evernote (the private email address you give) to be able to recognize an .enex attachment and import it, then append that note or create another note with the body of the email if any was written that differed from the actual note. This way you could email your notes to anyone who shared their evernote email with you and it would automatically go in exactly as you had it in yours. Try it, you'll see what I mean.
  7. I have been using evernote for about a year now, I cant do my job without it. I love the clipping feature, and the ability to annotate with the drawing mode, especially with the ability to do whatever you want with the clip (copy to clipboard, save as a note, or save it as a png). One feature added to drawing mode that would be helpful would be the addition of text annotations. I dont know about anyone else but I have a hard time writing with my mouse even with the recognize shapes turned on.
