I recently noticed that text I encrypted in a note is visible in the preview of the note when it is displayed in the notes widget on the home screen. When I click to open the note the text requires the password to view, but the fact that the protected text is visible in the preview seems to defeat the purpose of encrypting it. Additionally, this bug makes me question whether or not the text is actually encrypted in the actual note. Has anyone else run into this? Does anyone at Evernote have any insight?
