Thanks for the patient advice: I've been using evernote for many, many years, but never had reason to visit the forum (clearly I've lived a charmed life) and hadn't clocked all of that (especially using the web client to deal with 'zombies'!)... will follow that advice and post on the link you suggest if no success. Two issues with current release (details below of what I'm using): Deleting a note - it disappears and confirms moved to trash, then reappears a couple of seconds later. Creating a new note gives me the blank note to edit, but then immediately (a second or so) disappears. Anyone else experiencing this? Have done a 'forced restart'.
