Agreed, I don’t know how many times I try to drag and drop things only to discover it doesn’t work. I can manually add by saving to “On My iPad” in Files and then adding later, but it would be so much easier productive to just drag and drop.

1000% this. I’m in Evernote all day, I really need this feature on iPadOS to be productive. It’s definitely holding it back on the iPad.

Is there a way to stop Evernote on iPad from refreshing when I switch apps? I am on iOS 14. This has been doing this for a while but didn’t in the past. It may have started with iOS 13, but am not sure. If this can’t be fixed/stopped, I am going to switch to another app, even though I have been using Evernote for many years.
I had the same issue for what seemed like years. The latest version, the re-write, version 10, seems to finally fix that. Are you still seeing it with that version?

I have the same issue every time. I have an iPad Pro 11" with Apple Pencil 2.

I just had this happen to me, and submitted the bug report. It’s very frustrating.

If I hand write notes or sketch ideas, I tend to use notability and share into Evernote once they’re complete. Clunky workflow but I still like Evernote as my central notes repository. Penultimate was great when it came out, but it’s so far behind now, and I don’t want to use an app that’s practically unsupported.

IPad Multiple Window Support
in Evernote for iOS Requests (Versions 10.0 and above)
Posted
I’ve submitted feedback and support requests for this multiple times.
With iPadOS 16 and Stage Manager coming out in the Fall, we really do need multiple window support. On my desktop Mac, I constantly have multiple Evernote windows open, but when I go mobile with my iPad Pro, I can’t do that. It continues to be a frustration.
