Please implement this OBVIOUS suggestion as soon as possible. With macOS Monterrey on newer Macs, the tool bar space is limited to the area to the right of the camera notch, with no user control over what gets loaded there and what gets dropped. Forcing us to have this fairly useless Evernote icon in place of icons we actually want to use is short-sighted at best.

I sort notes by date updated, and want to keep that method. But I also have one or two notes in the work project notebook that I need all the time. These get pushed down the stack as other notes are updated. So I would love a way to pin one or more notes to the top of the stack, independent of sort order, so that they are always there. Yes, I know I can just create a separate notebook for those, but switching notebooks is more than I'm looking for.
