Searching: show in the note window in the vertical bar the positions of the found pattern (like in web browsers)
-
-
Searching: better navigation with short cuts (working on Mac)
-
alt-cmd-F: enter search pattern => result in list of matching notes
-
it should be possible not navigate directly in the list of matching notes with up/down arrow=> at the moment you have to select first on of the note, then you can navigate with up/down arrow keys
-
To find the search pattern in a note, you have to click 'enter' to jump into note and then cmd-F, enter
-
and then cmd-G / shift-cmd-G to jump around the pattern in the note
-
Or better solution:
-
enter search pattern
-
navigate with the cmd-arrow keys directly. In that case cmd- up/down in the notes list
-
with enter or cmd-right key jump into the note
-
in the note: with cmd-up/down key: jump to the next/previous matching pattern (don't need to click cmd-F, cmd-G)

Support of Tabs: like in web browser - allow to open a note beside 'open in new window' -'open in new tab'.With the Tabs it will allow to work on multiple notes. On each note the cursor stays at the last edit position. That is not possible if I navigate over the last used notes. In that way it will just show the note and loose the last edit position.
Can no longer cut and paste images into notes in the desktop version
in Evernote for Windows Issues (Versions 10.0 and above)
Posted
Similar issue with me, using latest MacOS Desktop version.
Difference: copy paste from one note to the other note in Evernote - the image are lost!
Copy/Cut & Paste section with images from one Note into new Note, it shows me very shortly this message in the new note:
Which I ignored, because the image was first shown correctly, but later the image is disappear and it looks like: two turning circles
Unfortunately the section with the image from the original note is removed. How can I bring back the image?
