  1. I've had enough of the issues with Evernote and I've moved on to Dropbox Paper. Better UI experience, no limit to how many devices I use, better tracking of To Do checkbox items and sharing with other users. Only drawback is not dedicated Mac application, have to run it in a browser. Using Opera to only run Paper, so no impact so far. Too many things going wrong with the Mac version, I was getting spinning color wheel WAY too often, when I needed to be typing notes. 5 years plus of Evernotes, but time for a change!

  3. I've restarted the application and the Mac. Still getting the issue.
  4. I concur, getting similar issues. Mine also goes to the spinning color wheel for 1-15 seconds. VERY distracting, especially since I'm using this application to take notes with. Hard for this to be a dependable note taking app when it intermittently freezes. When I check Activity Monitor, I see that the Evernote process has pegged the CPU to over 100% and occasionally show "Evernote not responding" in red. Using Evernote 6.13.3 on a MacBook Pro Retina circa Mid 2015 running an i7 on macOS Sierra v10.12.6.
