Thank you both for your suggestions. I logged out, logged back in, and the synch seems to be working.

I will add that I can see the two new notebooks on the Web site, but not the updates to a note that caught my attention. That implies that my personal MBP (M1) is having the problem.

Yesterday I added another Mac to my devices - I will call it my client MBP. I now have three of them, plus my iPhone. I made some changes to one of my notes on my personal MBP that is not synchronizing across any devices. Then on my main work MBP (a two-year-old Intel), I added two new Notebooks, and they are not synchronizing on other devices. Any suggestions on how to track down this problem? I have a personal license.
