Yes I do - but in the past, it would open in a new window on the screen (not minimized). I have unchecked this box. Uclear why it is minimizing the new notes.

This started happening to me as well - click on new note, screen flashes and it disappears... Then I noticed there were multiple notes in the taskbar that were minimized. Thought it was Malwarebytes, but this Evernote behavior happens with Malwarebytes running, and shut down. Platform is Win 10.
