I have been annotating a course workbook for a few weeks off and on. All of the sudden when I click the the "Annotate this PDF . . ." option nothing happens now.
How can I troubleshoot this?
Here is how I click to start annotation: https://www.evernote.com/l/ASRr5A2NBuNJDag7Y4Ph8zpQOzcaZrzedrQ
I am version 6.8 (from appstore so autoupdates) https://www.evernote.com/l/ASSQlPGdDPNAuouBCg8hDVDxRuupwjqvpUU
I tested "annotate" on another PDF and it is working fine. So there must be something with the current note / pdf causing this.
Here is a link to the note / pdf I am working on: https://www.evernote.com/l/ASQPpemepsJHfKvR9sRIZMBbgQNskrN_zmE
I dowloaded and made a copy of the PDF file. Then I opened in Adobe Acrobat and edited the file (optimized size) then saved the file under a new name. I then created a new Note with the new PDF and Annotate still will not work. It must be something with the PDF file (link in update 1) and the current annotations?
I exported the PDF to Word format then from Word saved back to PDF format. When I import that new PDF into a Note, Evernote does let me Annotate. However, I lost the ability to edit any previous annotations (there were several) and some of the annotations were garbled during the transitions.
The PDF that is linked in Update 1 needs something done to it to make it annotatable. Any ideas?
