I'm actually about to do the same. EverNote is worse than Apple. The competitors give out Evernote's premium features for free, and much sooner. Instead, Evernote makes people wait for simple features such as setting a default Font Size. Ridiculous. Switching back to OneNote for now and looking into Bear as it supports Code Snippets and Markdown.
