  2. Much appreciated excuses, and certainly no help what-so-ever. I really appreciate your contradictory responses. Dave has been going on about the rules stating a need to be level 4 when they clearly do not. Now you are trying to tell me the rules listed on this forum do not apply to this forum? Once again what are you all trying to imply here? This is a lawless forum where people are free to troll new users with no means of getting any help?

  4. I would rather just follow the process cleanly outlined in the rules, than take some workaround to being repeatedly harassed. Thanks for the unecessary back and forth, and avoiding backing the clear fact that the current process is clearly completely defunct... It is completely Ludacris that there is no means to report someone or directly seek help for users under level 4, by people clearly breaking these rules. Sadly being 3rd party forum or workarounds have nothing to do with the reality of the situation...
  5. Okay so just getting Infinitely harassed by users with no means to do anything is a great compromise. It simply tells us in the rules to report people for specific reasons, thats why there are moderators and new users cannot immediately ban users, simply report them for review... No where does it state that we have to obtain rank to not be harassed on official support forums, 3rd party or not this is the only means of Evernote support available to most of us. What are you trying to get across here Dave?
  6. Why on earth would it be acceptable to lock the feature to report users behind a level threshold? Why would it be clearly indicated on the community rules (which makes no mention of levels) that users can report posts? Who can let this company know they might want to clarify somethings in their rules and also make sure that any user can report someone clearly breaking the rules? I really do not appreciate being trolled on professional support forums or thinking I need to be a moderator to do something about it, when a user is clearly violating the TOS...
  7. Like the 3 dots menu I shared a picture of with no mention of "Report"??? Please look at the included pictures before making a statement.... or is share a new word for report and I was not told?
  8. It clearly says above rule one "Report any posts you feel contradict our policies by using the "Report post" feature and Evernote staff will review the reported content." However there is no option to do so anywhere. There are no topics for Report Post? There are no ways to report a user for clearly violating the TOS? Why do companies like Evernote get away with stripping all the features and means of users getting help? Then just leave it in the community guidelines while its clearly been removed. Picture if clearly not the post I am looking to report, just a clear indication that there is no way to "report a post"
  9. There are many reasons to not jump versions when the existing one works just fine for simple needs. 3 years is probably enough time to adopt a new update can agree. As previously mentioned they bugged their application and removed the pin lock as a temporary fix they stated would be addressed shortly. Months ago. As also stated they clearly do not care about user experience, pushing their "upgrades" daily and then adding a secondary popup to confirm your choice until tomorrow when it pops up again. I have no idea where La-La land came into it but Evernote is historically slow to fix their bugs. Thanks for ignoring any problems Evernote has and making my post into a battleground.
  10. There are also many many problem that arise with running the latest release and reasons to use the existing client. Many of us rely on the functionality of this platform and don't have the option for it to break and wait months for a possible future update to fix it. Like where has are unlock pin gone for months? Shrug? Especially when there is no direct support or interaction with the developer. Maybe one day I wont have to dismiss the popup to upgrade to premium every other day, or confirm that I don't want the offer (That wont be available after I dismiss it, until tomorrow...)
  11. Its a bit confusing due to them using the word Upgrade all over the place to get you to pay for the service. I had the V10+ client enabled forever just had not "Upgraded" my client. The post provided got me in the right direction, but once the V10 is enabled, you have to click your profile icon again. Then under the Upgrade your service button there is a upgrade text that looks like a green hyperlink, I believe it also says upgrade... You click that, it processes for a moment and then moves over to the new client. Seemingly for a day or so this has helped with my problems of not saving notes and so fourth.
  12. Trying to use the web client and I open a note, wait 30 seconds. Have made no changes, and see no green checkmark. Then when I start to type I see a grey checkmark, and then "Couldn't Save Note" this happens over and over for 5-10 minutes I cannot edit my notes? I have no other clients open, am not simultaneously using it on my phone. My Note has loaded but "Couldn't Save Note" just over and over again? What I am supposed to do to access my notes and edit them via the web application?
  13. Clearly more than enough. Just as the Pink Elephant stated, "Ignorance is bliss". Making sure there was no confusion for evernote.

  15. No one employed by Evernote or not should be urging users to pay for software so they can use it as it should be working. Its a slippery slope. Why keep premium working tomorrow if I could pay for super premium to get premium to work??? I am just upset that this turns into a tornado of feelings, with no support being offered, and no part being made by Evernote to keep track of or keep their software functional. This is also a non-functional replacement for support, I am coming to get the expectation from Evernote. This company does not deserve another 9$, because their web interface goof'ed up. Their software is not working as intended and they clearly could care less about it. Sync'ing has been a thing for far more than a decade, its intent was to keep this from happening and it has worked great for quite some time, but why keep it working if we could charge users instead?
  16. That might be how it happened, but never the less, it is still not working as intended. It should have created a conflict note or appended the changes to the end of the note. I am well aware life is not fair, but software should work as intended. This is NOT working as intended, that is what SUPPORT is for. I have no need of premium features as long as they make sure their freemium software works as intended. Please stop suggesting users start a premium subscription so they are entitled to use the software as intended. Evernote needs to address their faulty software.
  17. I have at no point changed the issue here. I have a problem with the lack of the ability to bring awareness to the software not preforming as intended. Saying you are becoming less welcome of those that just come here to read and write with no substance, you then proceeded to do exactly what you have a problem with. Read someone post, and reply with exhaustion and frustration and not intention of help or support. Your comments in this post are obliviously helpful and appreciated. Why can I not state something is not working. Why can I not state that being urged to pay for premium because freemium is broken is not okay? Why can I not make a post without criticism and "high level" users taking offense.
  18. What about bringing visibility to software not working as intended? How about not users pushing users to pay for software, that they have no need of premium functionality for... "Waste their lifetime writing" << May I ask why you even came to comment on this post?
  19. Its a statement, not a rant. I do want help, but you have made it clear, I can only get a workaround from this "Support". Where I am forced to pay for software that I have no need of a paid variant of, due to it not working. Quite an odd suggestion from someone not on the payroll, I love supporting ignorance, and user extortion. You (Boot17) have clearly stated this should not happen, a duplicate or conflict should have been created but it was not. I came here to get some visibility for an problem with this software, that I have no other means of getting help or even visibility with. Not to have other users push me to pay a developer for having poorly functional software, and deliberately creating no clear path for support.
  20. These replies being users is great, and irrelevant. Problem is the app is not functioning as intended and we have no means to contact anyone who can address it, just fellow users. I really do not appreciate extortion and there is no reason to be made to pay for something, because by design the free version is "Not working as intended", and also offers no means of support or ever being resolved. If I am made to pay for premium, so that I can use this software as intended, due to broken functionality and no support. what is to say premium doesn't break tomorrow an I have to upgrade to extra premium if I want to continue to use? Also why does no one have an issue with paying a subscription just because the software is broken on purposed and the dev has collapsed support. Seems like a really easy way to stop developing software and still coercing users to pay for a non-functional premium version??? How can you condone paying for premium as a "SOLUTION" to a problem that is elaborately designed to cause this type of situation for users???
  21. Except it did not create a duplicate or append to the end of the note as it used to. Does that mean this feature has also been stealthily removed? Why are you still telling users this should be the case if this is NOT THE CASE? So I would have to pay for a month to restore a note, due to a feature being removed for another one. Subsuquently that feature also being turned off, just because? I am supposed to pay for a premium subscription to fix this? There is no support, I get a "personal offer" multiple times a day, all the while functionality is being hindered. I guess Evernote has had enough of expecting their customer to be happy with their services...
  22. Came into work today to find my work pc still awake with some tabs open from yesterday. Evernote took it upon itself to sync my outdated note over my properly sync'ed note with out creating a "Conflicted note" today. Just lost a days worth of work and notes. Has this protective feature been moved to premium or something, or are we just supposed to be coerced into using a paid subscription if we want sync to work as intended?
