What happens if you highlight and hit "remove formatting"? It's not a super solution as it is manual, but it might help a bit. If not, "undo" immediately.

Sharing from Apple Notes to Evernote was an option and worked for me.

They have also simplified things by having those 14 features available to all and soon to be rid of legacy. It looks like they plan to build on top of a stable base -- I hope they spend some time achieving consistency/bug fixing and then carefully add features that don't break things that have been working.

if you name the file with the notebook's name, it automatically gets created with that name in the import process. But 93 files! Not looking forward to that
You might find evernote-backup useful: https://github.com/vzhd1701/evernote-backup/blob/master/README.md if your files are in cloud.
(It does not export the new Evernote Task Type in V10 but it does a good job otherwise).

Notes are always in a Notebook (Folder). When you click on the Notes icon, you will see all notes in all Notebooks. Is this what you are observing?

Do you have the same setting for Note Width in settings for both the desktop and web clients?

and actually the browser-based version is better and better...
Someone going this route would probably want to have evernote-backup or something to make ENEX files.

Baring that, is there an option to change the background color of notes to light/white while in Dark Mode (Mac OS)?
You can tell Evernote to always be in light mode in settings.

See the bottom half of the web page you cite.

Create a table of contents
It is strange that this page still contains the non-support legacy way of doing things as well.

Or never understood by the new team.

Not sure it is intended, but recently Professional allowed attaching 5 Google Calendars, now it says “personal and professional” which might only be two.

UPDATE: It now appears that move and duplicate aren't working for me either. No update to the client so it must be server related.
I agree, not working here either. Wrong way!!! Although it is beginning to seem to be "by design rather than a bug". ☹️

Seems like Professional has "lost" its shine if you don't need really big monthly uploads, two calendars, slack integration, or ability to assign tasks to others within Evernote.

My experience with 10.76.2 (old UI) is that this bug has finally been solved. I seem to be able to copy and duplicate notes without loosing the updated styles. I haven't yet tried export or making into a template.
Halfway there, duplicate now works, but templates still don't (at least for me) on macOS.

Using the latest Evernote on Mac
10.76.2-mac-ddl-public (20240214093250)
Editor: v176.53.0
Service: v1.92.0
© 2019 - 2024 Evernote Corporation. All rights reservedUri's like tel:205-555-1212 are broke again. They worked on the last release.
Also, URIs with x-soulver also do not work.

You could set up a 'template' note with some "Lorem ipsum" text(s) in the correct sizes and duplicate the note to create a new one.
I think that it still does not work to set the Headings to non-standard and have them stick when applied (it actually looks like they are lost while saving).

Since it came from a terminal, has the fixed-width (Monospace) font setting been lost on your content?
If you select all the content and change to Monospace font, do things get better? (You can undo to back out if this does not help).

Regarding retaining note linkage: Yarle (for moving to Markdown systems like Obsidian), Joplin's Evernote Plugin, and probably others make an attempt to deduce linkages by matching the text of the link with the name of another note. There are all sorts of challenges with this, but it does partially work.
-
You can do this now, but you will have to select 100 of them at a time to either move or tag. You could modify your search to include
-tag:YourTag
or
-Notebook:YourNotebook
to hide the ones you have already handled.

Their desktop client is solid though and very similar to EN!
Can you get it to open multiple windows on the desktop?

Above these three listed notebooks, do you have your Stacks listed? If so, you can expand those to see notebooks in the stacks (or at least I can).

Provide a way to find notes where highlighting has been done. It would seem it would be something like contains:highlight or something similar.

Looking at another post creating backup ENEX files, it occurred to me that you may be able to a Notebook by Notebook export to an ENEX file (or multiple ones, depending on the size of your notebooks) to force the download of notes faster than visiting each note one at a time. However, the process will likely take a while, given the number and size of your notes.
