The Web Clipper 'simplified article' format does a great job of extracting the essentials of a web page without unnecessary clutter. However, it should NOT in my opinion remove the <blockquote> tag. Here's why.
The left-margin indent created by this tag marks the beginning and end of text from a specific source. Removing this indent will often destroy the meaning of the article by making it impossible to figure out who said what. Read this piece without the indents and it becomes impossible to tell for sure where one person's remarks end and another begins!
