As the following option with selected notebooks: 

As the title states, stacks don't allow to search notes inside themselves.

While it's possible to search notes inside a specific notebook in the new iOS app, it's not possible with the stacks.

Tags are not allowed to be edited when they are searched from the search menu.

Please, in future updates add the option to edit the tags from the search menu. Otherwise, to edit a specific tag you have to search for it manually in the tag tree.

Now, the reminder notifications in my iphone app haven't a useful behavior.

The red badges outside the app and the blue dots inside the app should be activated from the reminder date and hour and not deactivated until the reminder is marked as done or postponed. This is how it worked before.

But now, those badges are active the full 24h during the reminder date day, not from the exact reminder time, and they are automatically deactivated from the moment the reminder date day ends and a new day begins (23h59->00h00).

Please, change this reminder notifications behavior and return it to the previous one.

As mentioned above, a corrupt note appears to have caused the legacy app to stop syncing. Multiple attempts to delete the note failed - in all apps on all devices and in Evernote web. I had in fact created the note in the NEW app, which has caused me endless problems because its constant sync doesn't play well with an intermittent internet connection. One of the failed syncs resulted in a note I was working on returning to its blank, untitled state but I couldn't edit or delete it.

After a lengthy process of uninstalling and reinstalling apps, this is what proved to be the solution - for me at least - to get rid of the faulty note and get the legacy app syncing again:

1. I closed the web browser so that the latest update would be in the app where the corrupt note was created in the first place.

2. I disconnected from wifi/internet

3. Being offline allowed me - finally - to send the note to the trash, from where I was able to delete it completely.

4. I turned the internet connection back on to allow the app to sync (V10, not legacy, as that was where the corrupt note was created).

5. I returned to the legacy app and it is now syncing again.

 

 

I'm glad you solved it. It was a chaotic few days for me until I got the Legacy working.

In my case, the corrupted note was created in my iOS app for iPhone. And I was able to delete it from my INBOX folder, changing the default folder and deleting the INBOX folder where the note was. After that, the note had disappeared from the v10 apps, but it appeared in the trash of the Legacy version. So a completely uninstall worked for me.

I've solved it.

Try to uninstall the Legacy software with a full removing of registers using Revo Uninstaller or CCleaner. Then install again the Legacy and it should sync without the corrupt note.

It worked for me.

I agree with all these points and I’d like to add the old version option of selecting multiple tags with the mouse on the sidebar using ‘ctrl + right click’.

Agree completely. I assume you were doing this from the sidebar. I have so many issues with tags in the sidebar. I have a hierarchical tag structure and clicking a tag selects all the child tags as well. So only notes which contain the parent and every single child tag are selected. This makes it pretty much useless for me.

Exactly.  With the multiple selection of tags with ctrl+mouse in the old version we could choose to search with an AND/OR operation. But in addition, selecting multiple tags from the sidebar also allowed us to apply an OR search operation directly through the hierarchical structure, as you said. 

Now we can only do an OR search using the syntax commands.

I’ve created a request thread. 

I managed to remove the corrupted note from my INBOX folder. What I did was to change my default folder to another one, and delete the INBOX folder with the crash note inside.

Now, there is no sign of this note in my v10 iOS app, my v10 Windows software and my Evernote web account. But this devil note is now in the trash folder of my Legacy Windows software.

I'm almost sure that this corrupted note is the cause of my non-sync problem with my Legacy version.

My GTD is a chaos without the old desktop version. I've spent many hours today trying to solve this to be able to use the Legacy, without success. I'm afraid it will never be solved.

The reminders only allow to set the time in half-hour intervals. I think it's too long. In previous desktop version it was possible to fine-tune the settings down to seconds. In the current iOS app, it allows you to set the time in 1-minute intervals.

Hi.  I'd imagine that Evernote's servers are very busy at the moment with hundreds of thousands of updates and syncs more than normal.  My 6.25 syncs have been delayed a couple of times,  but I'm up to date now.  Just check that you have a good internet connection and aren't running any other software that is claiming a lot of bandwidth.

Could this be the cause of the problem?

The non-eliminable note was created yesterday, a few hours before the problem with synchronisation started.

I've read that sometimes a note can cause sync problems. I've emptied the trash and sync is still not working, but that note in my inbox may be the problem. I hope.

I’ve noticed a syntax search bug regarding the ANY command with tags. It doesn’t work if I want to search into a specific notebook. When I write ‘any:’ it affects to the notebook too, not only tags.

For example, if I write in the search bar ‘notebook:folder1 any: tag:tag1 tag:tag2’ it shows all the notes archived in the notebook folder1. Those notes tagged with tag1, tag2 or other different tag.

I consider this a bug in view of the EN syntax concepts that worked before and because it works properly in the Windows desktop software.

I'm going to delete my post and report the issue in the iOS forum.

My workflow has been destroyed without it and with the new filtering.

The legacy version for windows doesn't synchronize since the last hours. This is an urgent problem for me. My iOS app was updated yesterday.

I don’t know if it’s a Legacy software problem or an iOS app one. 

Please, fix it or help me solving this.

If I delete all the content in a note (except the title), this change is not saved. When I open again the note, the content deleted is still inside. 

This doesn’t happen if I don’t delete all the content. For example, if I delete almost every text but at least a letter keeps written, the change is saved for the next time I open the note. 

But if I want to edit a note into an empty one, now I can’t.

Please, check and fix this annoying issue.

My saved searches don’t work. When I select one of them, the screen of my phone turns completely black. Then I have to close and open again the app. 

Tag filtering is now worst than before, or non-existing, as it forces you to do a search from the search menu. 

In addition, it used to be fluid, showing only the tags that were available as new filters were added. Now you have to think, remember and search manually one tag that may be compatible with the previous tags added or may not. Being possible that you don’t find any note.

Bad news for productivity in a productivity app and service. 

Please, try to improve this feature. Taking back the old procedure, for example.

Since I've installed the desktop version for windows 6.21.2 I have a problem with internal links.

When I click on a tag to filter my notes and access the one I want, if I visualize the note without opening it in a new window and click on one of its internal links, it doesn't show me the linked note if it doesn't contain the same selected tag. The reason is that the selected tag remains in the search box after clicking on the internal link. This didn't happen to me before.

The only alternative I have right now is to open in a new window the wanted note that contains internal links, so it disassociates itself from the previously selected tag from the navigation to filter the search for it.

I don't know if this is an unchangeable feature of the new version I've updated. Or if some option has been reconfigured when I have updated.

Please, if someone knows what the problem is and knows how to fix it, I will be grateful.
