  1. This bug was the straw that broke the camels back, it's been unfixed for far too long. It's not an ios thing because now i've switched to apple notes and it does NOT refresh this way, the changes appear whilst maintaining the same place in the note. It also does not refresh when you unlock your phone which was the main bug bear for me. We have a standup every morning and I usually have my standup notes prepped on the screen ready to go when it's my turn. When it is, I unlock my phone and the note SHOULD be there, at the same place. But no, I need to unlock, wait for it to refresh, then scroll all the way down to where I need to be.

I've cancelled my yearly subscription sad to say. I loved evernote, but the pace at which these seemingly little annoyances were fixed was far too slow.

When viewing notes on the phone, frequently I switch to other apps to do things like reply message, searching some content of the notes on the internet and so on. However, unlike the built-in Notes app on IOS, Evernote frequently reloads itself and returns to the top of the page and unsaves the action performed before switching to other apps. It very frustrating when the note is very long with lots of tables and we are editing something. It would be so much easier if the app can keep its status in memory much longer so that we can view the same things again after switching back.

Since IOS Notes itself can do it and there is no problem on my Mac, I assume there could be a way of fixing this for IOS? I am using a iPhone 8 for reference.

    Thank you very much.

THIS! It bugs me to no end. Especially when I need to bring up notes in a hurry.

For those who are still running into this problem, please try the following:

    1. Open the Terminal app
    2. Paste the command codesign -vvvv /Applications/Evernote.app
    3. Press return.

Please let me know if this fixes the problem, or if it reports anything not signed properly. If successful you'll see these last two lines

    /Applications/Evernote.app: valid on disk

    /Applications/Evernote.app: satisfies its Designated Requirement

    Thanks,

Mine reports both success lines too.

    Hey everyone,

Looks like for most this issue has been solved but even w the latest app and iOS updates it wasn’t for me, either on my iPad 11 or iPhone 8.  What I found to be the culprit was the Siri option in Control Center app settings.  Not sure why, but once I turned off “Siri and Search” >”Siri and Suggestions” options for Evernote I no longer have the hanging problem on either device (after app close and restart).  Was a super-frustrating issue and nothing else was working, so hopefully for those who may still have the problem this will help.

The freezing is driving me mad too. Thanks for the suggestion.
