Thanks for the reply. It does save properly to root. I see others have reported this issue on the Apple forums, which I replied to. Certainly seems to be an iOS issue, with other apps experiencing the same problem. Do you have a support channel with Apple where you can enter a ticket?
I love Scannable, but I want to save a scan to my iCloud Drive. I choose Export, then navigate to my folder, and the window closes, kicking me back to the pane where I choose where to save it. Anybody else seeing this? I've rebooted the phone, and closed/opened the app several times. iPhone 6, iOS 8.1.3. I put a capture of the behavior here.
