About Kyle Remp

  1. I don't think that the link I posted was formatted correctly, sorry. Try this instead: http://evernote.en.uptodown.com/mac/old
  2. I found a site that allows you to download previous versions of Evernote. I was able to restore to the previous version on my Mac by deleting the existing Evernote app in my applications folder, and then installing the one I found on this site: http://evernote.en.uptodown.com/mac/old It even kept all my notes! I'm not sure if there's an option for Windows as well, but I thought I'd share this in case it helps anyone.
  3. +1. Just because some of us have higher sensitivities to the new design, doesn't mean that we don't absolutely love the program. It also doesn't say that I don't appreciate the design, I think it looks slick. It's just a little hard on my eyes. I noticed an immediate eye strain when I upgraded today. I have used Evernote extensively both at work and personally to capture my thoughts in a hectic environment; without a second thought. However, now I find myself hesitating in opening a new note due to the discomfort associated with eye strain. Perhaps if an entire dark theme isn't possible, maybe we can have the option to set the default font color and background color for notes when they load. I thought changing the default font color was an option, but it doesn't seem to save my changes on OSX Mavericks. Thanks so much to Evernote for putting together such an amazing an intuitive product. Please just be mindful of those of us who have less than perfect vision.
