If they would *just* give us back on-demand, manual sync button, I would have switched to v10 ages ago. That's the only reason I'm clinging on to Legacy for dear life.

I guess I'm a little confused how this could be a problem with the service. . .surely searching my locally-stored notes is . .. well, local -- unless the issue is a recent update to the software (on all platforms?) broke search -- but I'll be the first to admit I do not understand how Evernote is architected or works (or doesn't worrk)

... are you sure you're replying to the right thread ?  I replied saying I'm having _precisely the same problem_ as the OP regarding search returning no notes.

Ah so I guess maybe then it's not "everything as expected" after all?

Having the same issue on both windows and mac. A note that I created about five years ago, that has the test 'family addresses' in it, when I search by precisely that string, no quotes, no punctuation, no notes are found despite the fact that I _know_ that note is there.

Thanks very much Xena, that's exactly the notification I'm talking about.   I'll try to catch it next time it comes up to show to Evernote support. Hopefully they'll have a more reasonable solution.

Every so often, about once  a week, Evernote will pop a notification like:

"It's been 3 days ...since you reviewed your notes. Check in on them to make sure you're remembering everything"

I have every notification in Evernote I can find disabled and this still comes up.

How can I disable this notification?
