  1. Had to uninstall and reinstall Evernote desktop today because it wouldn't open. Now I've lost the "simplify formatting" command which I used ALL THE TIME. Where is it, or if it is no longer part of the newest version, can I find an older version that has it and reinstall it? Very frustrated!
  2. Thanks for both suggestions. On the third try with Revo, followed by various disk housekeeping chores, reboots, etc., it finally removed it and I could reinstall. I'm up and running again. This is the second time in two or three years that a version update has completely disabled the program on my desktop. It makes me reluctant to try any future updates, as well as to entrust so much of my info organizing to Evernote. BTW, its applicability across platforms is THE reason I rely on Evernote so much. I run it on my Windows desktop (which is where it failed) as well as on iPads and iPhones. I love the app, but am going to look into alternatives a little more than I have. Twice burned... Oh, and yes I have been a Premium user for a couple years now. Thx again.
  3. I had all the problems described above. Tried the Revo forced uninstaller in advanced mode, got the same familiar error msg that the .msi file cannot be found. Evernote was working just fine before I agreed to the version update. I am a longtime pro user and have allowed myself to depend WAY too much on this unreliable program, which now will not function at all. Suggestions, please??!
  4. Well, so far not so good. I got rid of the standard Clipper and installed Beta version 6. Firefox dropdown menu shows it's installed, but now I don't even have an icon on my toolbar or any other way to activate it. Right clicking on a page or article or image, which supposedly lets me designate "send to Evernote" now has no such option. BTW, I'm using an up to date Windows 7 (having hated Windows 8 and abandoned it) and Firefox 32.0.3.
  5. Thanks. I'll try that and let you know if it helps.
  6. My Premium membership used to be totally worth it and I sang its praises far and wide. Clipper worked just great in Firefox, whether for whole pages, articles, selections, or images. For 3-4 months now I CONSISTENTLY get "unable to save clip" messages, requiring me to laboriously copy and paste everything I need to save. I won't bother to list URL's because it happens at ALL of them, hundreds and hundreds of sites all over the web. I've tried deleting the program and starting fresh. No help at all. Can anyone suggest how to return to its previous functionality? I'm ready to dump Evernote completely and start badmouthing it.
