  1. The problem is that there is nothing to change back to: the same settings that behaved one way before the upgrade now behave differently after.
  2. I haven't changed my preferences since upgrading, but now find my notes are being synchronized automatically; has anyone else noticed this?
  3. It would be helpful to know a bit about your setup: CPU, RAM, HDD/SSD, and database size. I experienced the symptoms that you describe on a system with a 2nd gen. Core i5 CPU, 4 GB RAM, SATA III HDD, and 3 GB database; since having it replaced with a 6th gen. Core i5 CPU, 8 GB RAM, and SATA III HDD, I experience only occasional, minor lags. I have no issues on another system with a 4th gen. Core i5 CPU, 8 GB RAM, and SATA III SSD.
  4. Check whether you have set a bold style for those notes that are overlined.
  5. Two thoughts: Much is made of Evernote’s Three Laws of Data Protection; but saying that "your data is yours" and "your data is protected" is not the same as saying that "your data will not be exploited". The statement that We are not a “big data” company and do not try to make money from your content may need to be qualified with However, a "big data" company provides our infrastructure, and may exploit your data for its purposes. With 200 million users, a competing application in Google Keep, and now migration to Google Cloud, I wonder how long it will be before Google snaps up Evernote altogether.
  6. It would be useful to be able to expose a note's source code in order to make edits that aren't possible using the Editing Toolbar. Perhaps a note could be divided into two tabs: the default WYSIWYG view in one tab, and the note's source code in the other.
  7. I have noticed this; you were right to raise a support ticket. When I add a URL to a note that is essentially a collection of URLs, occasionally the note URL is set. I do not want to set the note URL because the note is of my creation. Auto-populating the note URL assumes that the note has been clipped from the Internet.
  8. Microsoft Outlook has this functionality: when previewing an e-mail that has a PDF attachment, one can scroll through the entire document from within the preview pane. It would be even more useful in EN considering the size of the note panel.
  9. Please also: Restore the back and forward note navigation. Restore the Activity button so I can see when I last synced. Move the Trash button back to the list of notebooks, consistent with the Android client. Are there any plans to add more features to the note editor?
