  1. Same worked for me. Beware that in Windows 7, the default search for evernote.msi is unsuccessful because it resides in a temp folder. press the windows (start) button), type %TEMP% in the command box. In the folder that opens I found Evernote.msi and ran it. For completeness: I also did the regedit stuff before. Don't know now if this is a prerequisite. It was ages ago that I still needed the regedit and the command box. Also browsing in temp folders, can't remember when I last had to do it. Thanks Evernote for the nostalgic feeling ;-)
