About phongsta

  1. Not being able to scan Business Cards to Contacts until the fix is out. :-( At least it's working good again.
  2. Okay, there's a workaround. The Product Manager actually got back to me with a workaround. If you've already installed the app and it still crashes, then do the following: Go to Settings > Privacy > Contacts > Look for Evernote > Switch OFF Restart the app. The Product Manager also recommended me that I may have to reinstall the app. Evernote is working fine again with the new version. Yay! They do have a good response time, albeit not 24x7.
  3. Isn't that what beta testing is all about? You may have not encountered ANY issue with your beta test, but the final product has ceased to work for a LOT of people, especially Premium users like I. Also, this is supposed to be a final release and should've been stable. Perhaps Evernote need to have MORE beta testers? I agree with the other members on this forum... this is the most BANAL comment. In order to do thorough beta testing, there must be beta TESTERS. I would suggest you sign up to be a beta tester next time. "If you're not part of the solution, you're part of the problem." What do you NOT understand about what others are posting here? Beta testing was done awhile ago for 7.2. It's now released to the App Store in FINAL version format. I want a working app, not some nightly build to beta test. I am an IT professional that needs finalized and released apps. Beta testing is NOT what I am interested in, otherwise I wouldn't be complaining about a final released product. Now take your trolling and arrogance elsewhere.
  4. And yes, I have two tickets with them and they have been VERY pisspoor in responding... And I pay for their shoddy service so far.

  6. I lost two potential projects because of the update. From now on, I will be holding off for at least 2 weeks before updating ANYTHING from Evernote. OR I can discontinue my Premium service and go with something else that has more thorough developers and quicker support response instead of the 9 - 5 schtick (I paid Premium for this???) This is what happens when Evernote becomes a bigger company... Hurry it up out the door. Yeah, you guys may have done testing, but some of us that haven't have these issues so do NOT act like there's nothing wrong at all. Put yourselves in our shoes instead of acting arrogantly like it can't happen to others. iPhone 5s w/ iOS 7.0.4.
  7. I even created a new account and the App still crashes.
  8. Anyone know of an alternative to Evernote? I can't rely on Evernote anymore and I'm a Premium user.
  9. 7.2 Update works fine on my iPad Air. It just doesn't work on an iPhone 5s.
  10. The Premium support team did get back to me and told me to sync with iTunes. I'm a paid iCloud user and haven't synced ANY iOS device to my Mac since iOS 5. What about users that have this issue that does NOT use iTunes sync? This is what the support told me to do: Hello Visitor, Thank you for contacting us. Since reinstalling from the app is not working for you please connect this iOS device to a computer using a USB wire and whiting iTunes and remove the app from there, Sync your apps and then install it from the iTunes Apple store. There are some internal files that will stay on the App´s folder after removing like the user preferences or the Database folder, those gets completely removed when restarting after removing or by syncing using iTunes. Let me know the results. Miguel Ortega Evernote
  11. @nwpatriot go to settings and turn off automatic updates > open up App Store and go to Purchases to download the previous version. Download that. The App Store will issue the 7.2 update again after re downloading the previous version. Do NOT update until they release a fix for 7.2. I am back on 7.1.3 and stable again.
  12. Thanks. That worked for me as well for now until they issue a fix.
  13. I am a Premium Evernote User and had loved this app until the update today. Now it won't login and keeps crashing. I've rebooted the iPhone and it still crashes. Then I uninstalled the app and reinstalled it.... Same thing... crash at App startup. Rebooted to see if that would work... still crashes on app startup. Then, I rebooted, then removed the app, then rebooted the phone again and re-downloaded the app. At App start up, it crashes again! I've done this a total of 7 times now. Running iPhone 5s w/ iOS 7.0.4. Anyone else having this issue?
