I now know how to resize picture (at least on Mac) by opening the picture in external application such as preview.app. However, for some reasons, while Evernote understands the picture is of lower resolution, it doesn't resize the display! For example, I take pictures of credit card receipts that I can store and later submit for expense reports. I don't need that picture to be 2 pages long when I print. Instead, I would like it to be in minimal size so when I print, it will be within a single page. Right now, the solution shown above just gives me a lower resolution picture that prints in the original size (2 pages per receipt typically). At this moment, only way to go around doing this is to save the picture files, resize them in external app, then load each picture file to appropriate note. It is not an elegant solution.
