About Jim Dusseau

  1. The initial version of the widget did have center aligned buttons, but we've shifted them to the right to better comply with Apple's guidelines about widgets. What you're currently seeing is correct. ~Jim
  2. DaanAlb: Can you let me know which version you're running? You can check the version by navigating to the settings and scrolling to the bottom. Can you also tell me whether you're seeing this on in Document Camera mode or Photo mode? It's Evernote 7.4.1.310226. The photo mode.I even removed the app and reinstalled it, but that didn't work either. I must admit that I also opened a ticket, but their advice hasn't helped so far. Seems like a bug to me... We're aware of issues like this and we've been working to get them resolved, but we haven't been able to reproduce them. We did make a change that's coming in 7.4.2 aimed at fixing some issues, so hopefully that'll help you.

  4. The web client and iOS client should support the same features for reminders. I'm not sure what you mean by sort-by-reminder, but if you're referring to the ability to drag to order reminders, that is supported on iOS. Make sure that "Sort by Date" is unchecked, and tap the "Edit" button in the upper right. Tap and hold on the horizontal lines on the left side to reorder your reminders within a notebook. When the sorting options match on the web client and on iOS, the order of reminders should also match. https://www.evernote.com/shard/s5/sh/af589302-77a8-4bcf-a050-f3cbba4c3e73/1cff8f805b19ab4dac336bef1d45153c
  5. You'll find the "Sort by Date" option by tapping the "Sort" button in the upper right of the reminders view on iOS. https://www.evernote.com/shard/s5/sh/a44666f6-7696-428b-b280-a6cf0336a458/a1fc08deb2d382c814a5604aacc8f59b

  7. We display your "Full Name" which you can fill in on the Evernote web client. If the user doesn't have a full name set, we just display "Settings". Here are steps to fill in your full name: - Go to www.evernote.com in an web browser. - Sign In using the button on the upper right. - Access your account settings via the button at the upper right. - You can set your full name in "Personal Settings." The iPad client won't allow you to work with notes until you sign in.
  8. We're working on this issue and a few other iOS 7.1 issues. We hope to have a release out soon.
  9. For now, you have to tap "Edit" at the top right of the notebooks view. In edit mode, there's a "New Notebook" button that appears at the top left. We're aware that this isn't very easy to find and hope to release some changes soon. ~Jim
