About Thorvund

  1. Awesome. I couldn't believe it took so many clicks to get to a search in the new version. I am so glad to hear that you will be adding it to the home screen. I live in SJ and have been Premium for a year or two, any chance I could get a tour of the Palo Alto office?
  2. While the new Evernote for iOS7 is very attractive, it would be great to have the search function front and center on the opening page. I really would prefer this right on the top instead of announcements. Don
  3. Hello gazumped, Great ideas. The audio was fine. It records at a lesser quality than the native voice memo recorder, which sounds fine for what I was doing and actually saves space. I actually also ended up using Penultimate. I am a premium member, so I could download the Music Papers and take notes on that as well, they integrated into my lesson notes very easy. I will post a few more updates as I move along. Great stuff. Thanks for the suggestions!
  4. Hey All, I have been playing guitar for a couple of decades and after several years, I am looking forward to taking lessons again. I am almost as excited to use Evernote to document my lessons as I am to actually take the lessons. I wish this tool had been around when I started back in the early 90's. I plan on creating a note for each lesson and doing the following: Using Tags to highlight that it is a lesson and what we covered Using Voice memo to record the actual lesson Using the page Photographer to document the notes from the lesson Does anybody else see anything I may be missing? Thank you, Don PS, what would you pay to have had Evernote while in College?
  5. Hello All, I am considering buying a new iPad Mini and want to know if anybody is using Penultimate with it. What have your experiences been, is it too small to use effectively with Penultimate? Thank you, Don
  6. I have posted recipes to Facebook many times from my iOS device and it works perfectly. It links to a webpage. If I update the recipe, the link is updated. It works great. Today, I tried to post a note (recipe) to Facebook, and Evernote kept opening hundreds of windows in Safari. I tried to quite Evernote and Safari, but it did not help. I ended up having to Force Quite Evernote. I am using Mountain Lion on the Mac and Evernote Version 5.0.4 (400702). Don
  7. I figured out my own question. It is the most recently added or edited notes.
  8. Hey Guys, This is one feature I was really looking forward to. However, my left sidebar doesn't have "Recent Notes". When I go to "View" > "Sidebar Options", the choice for "Recent Notes" is grayed out. Any suggestions? Thank you, Don
