My yesterday installed EN also says in the info bar: 10.104.2

But if you pull back multiple versions... there must be critical mistakes in it i think.

Yesterday you could download 104.2

Today 100.1

Should I now uninstall the 104.2?

From 10.104.2 all the way back to 10.100.1 ?

after taskkill, i have to do a timeout 1 before starting evernote.exe

This should absolutely be possible. I would try running taskkill /f /im evernote.exe to ensure one of the Chromium subprocesses isn't stuck. 

This worked, thanks. Interesting, even after a fresh restarting I had these problems. So the first line is now the taskkill before opening the exe.

I want to use a batch in which EN is opened via CMD:

start "" "C:\Users\XXX\AppData\Local\Programs\Evernote\Evernote.exe"

EN starts but I get a 1000 line failure code in CMD, starting with:

[TIME] ERROR: electron.main/33760 on B4U:
     Error checking pending update Error: no pending update

Any suggestions?

version 100 also pulled today

i made the changes to the win-app actually

solution: deleting Firefox history cookies. Because all other browsers and web showed the right setting. So it had to be Firefox specific. Now it seems to be ok.

now even worse: on the windows app, everythink is fine.

On the web: "old name" has 10% of the notebooks in this stack

and the stack "new name" has the 90% in it.

if i put all the rest in the "new name" in the web, it does undo again.

but on the app version everything seem to be fine.

Currret name example:

Test1/now

Trying to change to: Test1 / now 🔎

It changes it correctly, and 2 seconds later changes it back to Test1/now

Someone else face this issue as well?

had it too. i had to change the notebooks name + pu it in another random stack for a couple of hours. and then to the final stack. this worked for me.

For now it works again. Thank you all for the help. Solution: I put the notebook in other stacks first for a while and switched it the right stack. It is in the right stack for 2 days now already. So seems to be ok for now. Plus I have the latest EN version.

all notebooks in this stack are shared with a friend. This particular notebook was created by the friend so i can't change the name.

Does anybody have had the same experience:

Putting this notebook into a stack

It gets kicked out, like "undo", back to the main overview

When putting it back to the stack, again, it gets kicked out

This happens on both windows and browser

Can someone do a step by step explanation how to use the evernote-backup tool on github? I am not able to run it.
