I have been a loyal PAID subscriber to Evernote for over 10 years. I could have been a free user for many years but happy to pay the reasonable subscription due to the fact that I thought it was worthy. I have also endorsed their product countless times to new potential users and even assisted them with setting it up. The fact that this app has now doubled in price in 12 months is unfortunately a deal breaker. I realise that there have been substantial gains in functionality and user interface in recent years, however I am one of many users who simply don't need that functionality. I truly wish there was some middle ground here to better serve this group of customers without the need for them to pay for stuff they don't want or need. Why can't there be a user level with more limited functionality at a cheaper price. I guess Evernote are going ALL-IN to attract the bigger users, however they may end up killing their 'bread and butter' customers in the process. Time to look for a better value option to better suit my needs and endorse it to others. Disappointing
