I having the same problem. It's super frustrating. With the update in the last couple of weeks, Evernote Windows Desktop app won't even function on my main PC and my PC won't even function if Evernote is spinning. SO FRUSTRATING. I could include lots of error log details but I don't have time to spend an hour or more compiling all of that Error and performance failure log information for troubleshooting Evernote desktop right now. Please fix this Windows Desktop Evernote Performance issue, that got really bad at about version 10.68.1. I normally use Evernote every day to create notes, but now it's not even usable because it can take about 10 minutes just to generate a new blank note.
