Probably the worst, most atrocious bug on the entire app I've had is tasks being rewritten to untitled. Occassionally, I'll check a note I edited a few minutes ago and find all task lists reduced to just a few without text, all being Untitled Tasks. One even had a bunch of text and an image disappear, as well as reset to how it was a long while ago. The strangest thing is that when browsing through notes the preview will show the original number of tasks it had, like say, 4/17, but the note itself will have only 5 or 6 overall. Usually I'd think to blame myself for not saving my work, but it is not the case here - in this case, the app doesn't even have a way to save a note manually. There is nothing that can prevent this from happening, no way to know if the note will be saved properly or get all writing there destroyed. Worse, this happens sporadically and it can't be predicted. The only thing left to do is obviously either switch to a different program or back everything up all the time, but if a program is so bad that you can't trust it to do the basic thing it should do correctly then why not just switch? Sorry for the little rant there but this bug has been awful and genuinely ruined the app for me. I do wonder if anyone else has encountered this issue and if anyone knows the cause/how to fix it? I'd like to be able to recover the lost writing and tasks although that may either not be possible or something that can be done with note history feature (which would suck even more actually - just imagine having to pay a notes app so that it wouldn't destroy the notes you make out of the blue.)
