I noticed this behavior a long time ago, however I waited to share the experience here on the forum, I thought I was ***** it up. But no, I have been careful and have observed this phenomenon for at least 2 months. The phenomenon happens randomly, some days it does, some days it doesn't, but it happens very often. In practice, in a list, whether it is numbered, checkbox, or dotted, the text of the various items is cut from one point and pasted to another point, or it may happen that it is completely deleted. Now to confirm that the cause is not me, I would like to get some feedback from other users on this issue as well.

I did the backup with evernote-backup, it works great, thanks! I backed up with evernote-backup, while backuperry is for windows only.

I wanted to share with you a feature request for our beloved Evernote web app that has become an essential part of my daily life, and I love knowing that I can record and organize my ideas in one place. There is one aspect that I find rather worrying: the lack of a backup system for our notes. In today's world where data protection is paramount, not having a backup of our precious notes is, in my opinion, really stupid. I understand that the web app version of Evernote for Windows allows notes to be backed up, but we have to consider that not all users are on Windows. It is essential to guarantee the same functionality for other platforms as well, such as Linux and the Webapp itself. Therefore, I would like to kindly request the Evernote development team to seriously consider implementing this backup feature for the web app. I know the team is always striving to improve the user experience, and it would be great to know if this backup feature is already in development. If the backup functionality is already under development, could you please speed up the implementation process? The security of our data is a fundamental aspect, and having the possibility of making regular backups of our notes would offer us greater peace of mind. I really appreciate the attention that the Evernote team gives to user requests and I hope that this request will be considered. Yesterday I updated a note from my smartphone with a jpg image. As you can see in the video clip, when I select text separately with the help of 'ctrl', the style is applied only to the last selected text. This behavior occurs with any type of style, bold, italic, underline, font style and size, colors. After doing a keyword search, Evernote listed the search results. By clicking on the items in the search results, at least 2 notes are loaded after a long time. Also, once it loads, going back to the previous note, it still takes a long time to load, this happens a couple of times, after that, everything runs smoothly. All of this rarely happens. @agsteele I've read that only the windows version allows you to make backups, I'm on linux and therefore don't have access to the windows version. Do you plan to implement backup from the web browser version soon?

@PinkElephant Real! Even in the smartphone version it works as you say, that is the feature I was looking for in the web browser version. I thought it was obvious that I was referring to the web browser version.

For example, I find it slow when I search by keyword, and once I find the note if I tap on it to open it, it takes a few seconds before displaying it. I read @MvdH' s comment and I'm not at his level, in the sense that I only noticed slowdowns compared to Keep, nothing serious like @MvdH''s case. However it is annoying. These days I'm considering whether to buy a paid plan and this inconvenience will affect the decision. It's just a matter of optimizing time and ease of use, it's boring having to navigate through the menu to add tags.

Thanks for the reply, your input is constructive. I understand your need not to have too many tags when you type the beginning of the name, it's understandable, I really have a hard time remembering. However there could be a choice, perhaps by selecting the type of search in the preferences, this is a solution that can satisfy both examples of needs, my example and yours. The suggestion to use 'edit tag' is not a preferential and fast solution, compared to what I need, it is clear that having the functionality I requested in the search bar at the bottom of the note is much faster. What do you think about being able to choose the type of search in your personal preferences?

True, forgive me if I have been inappropriate and have made non-constructive criticisms. How ugly the dash instead of the comma! LoL Damn! It happened again and the solution I did earlier no longer works. I have a tag with 5 notes but when I click on the tag, in the tags list, it only shows me one note out of the 5. I tried to downgrade the version and in the previous version it shows me all 5 notes, then I reloaded the new version but the magic didn't happen again. Firefox for Ubuntu I also looked for other reports on the forum but they are all old, even from 2022, I wonder why it only happens to me.

Here I would like intelligent suggestions, so that if I write some letters of the second word of a tag, or letters inside a word of the tag, it suggests everything it finds with those inserted characters. For example I can never remember if I created the tag 'Spirituality and Meditation' or 'Meditation and Spirituality', and lo and behold with the current functionality I have to try at least twice to find it. Hi, thanks for the welcome! In fact I was too vague, but mine was more a way to exorcise the sorrow for having lost important data, in short, I needed to let off steam. I was cutting/pasting notes from Keep to Evernote, and then making the necessary adjustments, on many notes it was almost fine, but 2 or 3 notes disappeared. In reality, the notes were present in the new notes notebook, but they did not contain the data that I had written. This happened after switching pages, so: I cut/pasted notes from Keep to Evernote; I changed page, leaving Evernote; When I re-entered Evernote the notes were empty; I assume that for some reason there was no autosave. The other issue (not being able to search by tag) was resolved by downgrading to the previous version of Evernote and then upgrading again to the new version. However, I continued to take the notes to Evernote, but this time I copied them to G. Drive first, so I'm safe, however, after downgrading and then upgrading the Evernote software, it seems to have resolved all the problems greater. Now there's just a little annoyance, when in tag names there is a comma ',' it is transformed into a dash '-'. If all goes well I think I'll at least upgrade to the 'personal' plan, after all, I think the Evernote guys deserve my money. Hello and thanks again for the welcome!

I was bringing my notes from the app I've been using until recently when I realized that some notes weren't saved to evernote, so I lost the data. Furthermore, the search by tag and keyword does not work. All this on FIrefox. I hope there will be some fixes because evernote features are unique and I would love to use it for every day.
