Request: Snagit-esque window capture for desktop clipping tool

I would love to see something in the Evernote desktop clipping tool that contains features like the screenshot below (yes I took a screenshot of a screenshot taking tool, insert xzibit meme here).  With TechSmith SnagIt you can hover over a window and it will automatically select the edges of that window, and you can just click to get that predetermined selection.  It would make life easier when clipping directly to Evernote, as I wouldn't need to be as OCD with pixel sizes when using the clipping tool.  Also I do know that SnagIt directly integrates with Evernote, but I would love to see a native solution.
