Scott Adelman 6
I have been having the issue that is described in many other places of my images being large due to the Retina display resolution. I read about the option of toggling off the high resolution in Skitch. I could not get it to work. So I deleted my app and downloaded new copy. Same thing. I can place and remove check box next to High res option but it does not seem to change icon at lower right corner of capture window. It always states High Resolution and when I copy and paste a screen shot it is still huge. Is there some other setting I should be changing? Is this just an unresolved error? Everything I read seems to say this issue has been resolved. Help! Link to comment
HillFool 2
see: https://blog.evernote.com/blog/2013/12/13/quick-updates-for-skitch-mac/ Unchecking Hi-Res in the drop-down only affects what the Drag-me tab places in external documents Link to comment
KC Baltz 0
I don't even have the Hi-Res / Lo-Res options anymore. Has this feature disappeared? Link to comment
ebruin 4
I googled my way here for the same reason - has the resolution control feature been eliminated? Link to comment
KC Baltz 0
This seems to work intermittently and only when I drag and drop from the tab on the bottom of Skitch. I haven't tested carefully but it seems like it only does the low-res when I annotate the image in some way prior to drag and drop. Link to comment
