Email subordination in new release

Really don't like the trend in new release to default to 'sharing'.   Prefer direct email, and it seems like parking it far away on a secondary dropdown menu presages a day when email will disappear altogether.  I really resent the way that companies, after having attracted a critical mass of paying users to a sticky platform, then simultaneously ***** and milk their customers by requiring them to use functionality that is less useful (often poorly designed as with share right now) and only given pre-eminence because it drags more unwilling users into their ecosystem-- forcing them to register and share like-wise.  Please don't be evil.  thx.
