Any simple guide to scanning an image on iPhone and having text in that image searchable?

 

I've been trying for an hour to do this.  I've seen demos of it working, but it's not working for me.

 

Tried taking a snapshot of the document using Scanner Pro and also Evernote app.  Premium member now.
