When using full-screen mode on a mac, how do I drag an image to another app?

Normally, when using Skitch in non-fullscreen mode, there's a drag handle at the bottom of the Skitch window that lets me drag the current image as a file into other apps.  I use this all the time to send my images in mail messages, for example.

 

When you maximize the Skitch app, that handle disappears.

 

How do I drag an image to another app when using Skitch in fullscreen mode?
