BKRonline 0
Hello, My apologies if this has already been answered. In Safari, every time I "Reset Safari...", close Safari, and reopen, I get a new tab with http://evernote.com/webclipper/whats_new/?firstlaunch displayed within. This is annoying, and would love to find a way to stop the new tab popup. I'm fully aware of the web clipper, and don't need a reminder every time I decide to reset the browser. Many thanks! jnom 0
I agree. This should be a simple fix for the Evernote team. Link to comment

tumas 0
Well, when can we expect this next release? It's really annoying and i had to disable it completely on safari because of this reason. Using chrome works, but i usually prefer safari. Link to comment
AT3D 0
This is really quite irritating and I have also now disabled it completely. Couldn't a short-term fix (release) be made available until the next big release is ready? Link to comment
Douglas G Blane 0
I have the same annoying problem with firefox 50.0.2 when I launch it on my iMac. A new tab containing the URL https://www.evernote.com/webclipper/whats_new/?firstlaunch automatically loads. Please stop this as it's very annoying! There are no preferences within the firefox add-on to stop this. The only way I have found to stop it is to disable the evernote web clipper 6.9.3 firefox add-on. I am paying for evernote, why should I have to disable a good feature because of a piece of annoying coding which could be easily sorted. Link to comment
ankilosado 0
Same issue here, Windows 7 and Firefox 50.1.0 fresh update. Not a mere setting in about:config nor the startup command of the icon in the taskbar... has anybody a clue on how to disable it apart from diabling the plug-in? Link to comment
