Firefox plugin not working

Evernote has a firefox plugin that makes it so when you search on Google it also searches evernote. But this feature works imperfectly. For example there are cases where I have a note with a certain title, and I search for that exact title in google but the note does not show up. The note is quite old so it's not a matter of having failed to sync. Has anyone else had this happen? If so, how did you fix it?
