Penultimate and Jot Script - What version is needed

Just received my Jot Script prior to Christmas and began playing around this am. i watched the getting started video and seem to have a basic problem, the device never shows in Bluetooth as sync'd nor is there a fourth line item under the general settings to pair the pen with the software. i am running Penultimate 5.0.2 on iOS 7. any thoughts?

always read the fine print, iPad 3 or newer. i have a iPad 2.
