(Archived) text inside brackets disappeared after upgrading iPhone to iOS7

Hi all,

after upgrading to iOS7, all text inside brackets "<" ">" has disappeared...

I use brackets to signify some standard, repeating texts, a sort of personal code. But I use it as text, inside text notes, and it has nothing to do with XML or any programming language at all.

 

Thankfully I accessed my account on the web, and my notes appear to be intact, with brackets and the text within. So I am assuming it is a iOS7 issue.

 

Please advice on how to restore my notes,

I removed and re-installed the app and everything is back to normal, my text has those characters and the text within.
