(Archived) Paste into a note doesn't work

Copied a text in a clipboard. Paste into the Evernote Note does not work. Tried Paste as Plain Text menu -  doesn't work. Cmd-V doesn't work either. Have no problem pasting into any other application (e.g. text editors or Skype).

 

I'm on Mac OS X 10.8.5 using Evernote 5.4.4,

I'm not seeing this problem.Both work for me. Evernote 5.4.4, Mac OS 10.9

 

What troubleshooting steps have you taken so far? The obvious first steps would be to restart Evernote, restart the computer.

Restarting Evernote didn't help. Restarting the computer may sound like a good advice for Windows users. I can certainly try this. But the fact that I can paste into any other program tells me that the problem is in Evernote paste implementation on Mac.

Restarting sometimes helps on Macs, too. As it's a very simple thing to try, why not? That I don't have the same problem indicates to me the issue is not with the Evernote paste implementation generally but with some problem more specific to your set up.
