android (Archived) (Archived) No PDF Annotation in EN/Skitch for Kindle Fire

Hi! I own a first gen Kindle Fire, with the most recent software update, and have recently downloaded Evernote and Skitch (again, the most recent versions). 

 

I see in several places on EN's website that Android devices have the ability to mark up pdfs. However, on my Kindle Fire, that does not seem to be an option. I can attach the pdf as a file, and view it in the Kindle Fire, but can't actually annotate it.

 

Any ideas as to why?
