(Archived) How to display Notebooks and Notes on the same screen in Evernote 5.4.1for Mac

Hi,

I used to be able to display NOtebooks and Notes on the same screen so that I could move Notes to individual Notebooks. Now the new version display either Notes from one notebook or all notebooks , or it displays the names of Notebooks. So I can't drag and drop a note to a specific Notebook anymore. Is there an option to enable this feature again. ?

There are two ways you can do this:

1. Drag the note to the Notebooks button in the sidebar and wait a second (without releasing the mouse button). The notebook page will open and you can then continue dragging to the notebook you want.

2. Control-click on the Notebooks button in the sidebar and select Show Notebook List (Or select View->Sidebar Options->Show Notebook List). You can then drag from the note list into the notebooks in the sidebar.
