(Archived) FEATURE REQUEST: Outlining + tabs - Creating hierarchy

I would love to see Evernote expand its text formatting to include auto-outlining for automated hierarchical lists. Apple Pages does a great job with this by detecting when a new hierarchical structure is being used. The use of the "TAB" key lets the user indent to the next level (a proper indent that allows for multiple lines of text), and the use of "SHIFT-TAB" lets the user go back to the previous indent level.

All of this helps to create neat hierarchical lists which a lot of folks prefer when taking detailed notes

yes please! i completely second this. I will take notes on my windows machine and it keeps inserting extra tab dots once I sync with the server, for example, instead of:

- A

- B

it becomes:

- A

- - B

It drives me nuts! Please fix.
