I'd really like to find an easy way to associate a keyboard shortcut with "today's" entry. Ideally it would open the note and position the cursor in the body field allowing me to rapidly add new details. For example, the phone rings, someone asks me to do something. I hit the shortcut, make a note of the time of the call, and the request, then close the window.
The best would be a small text entry box that pops out of the menu bar that would allow me to enter the text to be appended.
