(Archived) Cannot Sync on Android: "error code 8: attempt to write a readonly database"

Hello everyone,

 

First post to the forum here. I've had Evernote for years, but have only been really using it for a few months now.

 

I've run into a problem: my Android phone won't sync! Instead I get "error code 8: attempt to write a readonly database" and nothing updated.

 

Anyone have any ideas how to remedy this without having to delete and then reinstall Evernote to my phone?

 

I have sent a technical support request via the Evernote app, but figured I'd inquire here as well.
