(Archived) Evernote won't sync on my android tablet

I have a motorola tablet with Android operating system, I have had evernote working functionally in the past but for some reason it has decided to stop syncing. 

I have tried everything except deleting the app and re-installing it.  Every time I try to sync my notebooks it says "downloading headers" and then an error occurs and it stops.  I have logged out (deleting any unsaved notes) and now I have all empty notebooks on my tablet. 

 

What is going on and how to fix it?
